Forgetfulness - It's Not Always What You Think - 1Units
When is it "normal" to begin forgetting? It is commonly accepted that when people begin aging, they will have problems remembering things that were once readily available to them. Fortunately, aging is not always the cause of forgetfulness. Understanding other causes and possible treatments, practitioners can lead their clients to improved memory with treatments and medications.
Target Audience
This course is designed for healthcare providers. Specifically, it is designed for Licensed Professional Counselors, Social Workers, Psychologists, Chemical Dependency Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, Nurses, or any other healthcare provider that is likely to gain professionally from increased knowledge in the subject area. It is appropriate for any provider that is likely to come into contact with those dealing with issues related to the clinical topic in the course of practice.
