Cocaine Addiction and Abuse - 3Units
Cocaine use and abuse has re-emerged in the 21st century as a damaging and deadly habit among teens and adults. The highly addictive chemical dynamics and relative affordability of cocaine cause the problem to be one that is spreading, especially in the adolescent population. The clinician will learn treatment modalities for users of cocaine who have become addicted to the deadly drug.
Target Audience
This course is designed for healthcare providers. Specifically, it is designed for Licensed Professional Counselors, Social Workers, Psychologists, Chemical Dependency Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, Nurses, or any other provider that is likely to gain professionally from increased knowledge in the subject area. It is appropriate for any provider that is likely to come into contact with those dealing with issues related to the clinical topic in the course of practice.
